    <br><br> Republic (KBSR, Bashkir Kyrgyk-Bashort Council of the Republic of Kazak Kazak-Bashurt Council of the Republic) is a project of the national statehood of the Bashkirs and Kazakhs within the RSFSR.<br>History of the project<br>The project for the creation of the Republic was presented by the leaders of the Bashkir national movement – A. K. Adigamov, A. A. Bikbavov, A. A. and Kh. Yu. in a letter to V. I. Lenin, to the People’s Commissar of the People’s Commissariat for Nationalities of the RSFSR I.V. Stalin of June 4, 1919, as well as A.-Z. Validov (according to other sources – A.K. Adigamov) – in a memo to V.I.Lenin dated December 13, 1919. To the latter was attached the „Project for the of the Bashkir and Kirghiz Soviet republics.”<br><br>During the passage of the II Congress of the Communist Organizations of the Peoples of the East – in November-December 1919, N.T.<br><br>The project for the creation of the Kyrgyz-Bashkir Republic was discussed in December 1919 at meetings in Moscow with the participation of 7 delegations from the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (A.K. Adigamov, A.A. Validov, A. A. Kaspransky and F. M. Suleimanov), the Ufa province (B. M. Eltsin), the Kirghiz Territory, the Orenburg province, the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, the All-Russian Central Executive Committee, the Central Bureau of the Communists of the East.<br><br>The project consisted of 14 points and determined the territory, political and economic foundations of the republic. Provided for the creation of the Kyrgyz-Bashkir Soviet Republic on the basis of Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan with the capital in the city of Orenburg. The principle of equal representation of Bashkirs and Kazakhs in the republican authorities was proclaimed. The republic was to be vested with broad powers:<br>in economic activity – the concentration of all sectors of the economy and finance under the jurisdiction of the republican bodies;in the political sphere – mutual representation in the republican and central authorities;military activity – the creation of national Bashkir and Kazakh military formations on the territory of the alleged republic, the removal of the non-Bashkir and non-Kazakh population from the subordination of the military commissariat of the republic.<br>On December 16, 1919, the project to create the Kirghiz-Bashkir Soviet Republic was rejected.<br>
