Burger Chain Lotteria Gets Demon Slayer Collaboration Items!

With the cherry blossoms and the spring weather sweeping across Japan, so too are a vast number of anime franchise collaborations, such as the McDonald’s x One Piece collaboration and the Pokemon x Ginza Cozy Corner collaboration. Now, there’s a new, limited-availability fast food collaboration those in Japan can look forward to: Lotteria x Demon Slayer!

The collaboration, which features meal sets dubbed the “oni-on set” as “oni” in Japanese refers to demon, and the set comes with onion rings, features three different burgers, two limited sticker sets, and Demon Slayer themed packaging.

All three burgers feature “rice buns”, that is, seasoned right shaped into a patty that covers the top and bottom of the burgers instead of traditional bread buns. The first of these special burgers is the Teriyaki Rice Burger, which features a classic burger patty with teriyaki, mustard, mayonnaise, a sheet of seaweed, lettuce, and onions.

The second burger is the Shrimp Rice Burger, which features a shrimp croquette patty, tartar sauce, shredded cabbage, teriyaki, and mustard, while featuring a sheet of seaweed on the top and bottom of the burger.

The final, and most extravagant, burger featured in the lineup is the Masterpiece Cheese Rice Burger, which is an oregano-seasoned beef patty with gouda cheese, red cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, teriyaki sauce, mustard, and two sheets of seaweed.

All three burger sets comes with their signature onion rings and a drink of your choice, in addition to your choice of one of two exclusive collaboration sticker sheets. The first of these features Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, while the second features the Hashira; Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Muichiro Tokito, and Mitsuri Kanroji.

This exclusive collaboration hit Lotteria stores on April 7th, and while they don’t have a specific end date, they are limited quantity–meaning the promotion ends as soon as quantities run out. Demon Slayer fans in Japan who want to try this collaboration should run to their nearest Lotteria chain ASAP!
