As cherry blossom season approaches, Donguri Kyowakoku, known for its everyday collaborative items featuring popular anime and Japanese pop-culture products, is bringing back its coveted sakura Totoro tableware collection! Previously sold out both online and in stores, these kitchen accessories combine the charming world of Totoro with Japan’s iconic cherry blossom season.
The restocked lineup includes a pair of bowls adorned with the beloved forest spirit frolicking amid cherry blossoms, with a Soot Sprite and a white small Totoro adding playful touches. Available in both a large and a small size, both can be used as either decorative pieces or for meals, with the smaller size advertised as ideal for eating rice.
The second item is a wonderful mug, perfect for sipping hot beverages out of. While the general design of both is similar, the mug and the bowl differ ever so slightly, primarily with the placement and expressions of the various characters from the series. Both pieces are crafted from Mino-yaki, or Mino ware, giving each piece a handcrafted and rustic pottery appearance.
All three products are available on the official site here, with no end date announced but will likely end as soon as they sell out.
