Anime studio Ufotable just announced that the anime adaptation of Gotoge Koyoharu’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will premiere on April 6th, 2019 on tv networks all over the country.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba revolves around two siblings, Kamado Tanjiro and Kamado Nezuko. Their family lives a modest life selling charcoal, but everything changed when they were attacked and slaughtered by demons. Tanjiro and Nezuko are the sole survivors of the incident, although Nezuko becomes a demon in the process. Somehow, Nezuko continues to show signs of human emotion and thought. Tanjiro becomes a demon slayer to figure out how to turn his sister human again, and to avenge his family.
