A first look at the Levi’s x Pokémon collection

A lot of Millennials probably still remember going on adventures with Ash, Misty and Pikachu, either on handhelds or TV. Pokémon, one of Japans most famous nerd exports, is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. After collaborating with brands like Gucci x the North Face and G-Shock, now Levi’s has announced their Levi’s x Pokémon collection.

1st generation Pokémon paired with retro staples

The vision behind the collection screams “Back to the roots”. A first glance at the apparel brings back memories of the familiar 90ies aesthetic, featuring straight cuts, basic shirts and a lot of denim. It might be no surprise that especially the franchises mascot Pikachu is featured heavily. But also classic fan favorites like Snorlax, Ghastly and Psyduck have found their way onto wardrobe staples and accessories.
