Japanese anime fashion brand Mayla is no stranger when it comes to collaborating with big names in the industry like Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura, and this time, they’re continuing their history of stunning fashion collaborations with an all-new collection of hair accessories inspired by Demon Slayer!

These accessories, officially named the Mayla Kimetsu no Yaiba Iconique Hair Object + Kanzashi, reflect Mayla’s love for elaborate elegance but allow fans to show their love for the series in style. They are versatile, functioning as both hair clips and kanzashi (Japanese-style straight hairpins), thanks to their dual-purpose design, which also aligns with Demon Slayer’s traditional Japanese themes.

The hairpins can be styled as traditional kanzashi or as hair clips, with the tassel being removable for the latter look. Mayla has skillfully incorporated design elements from the anime, using each character’s image color and costume fabric patterns to create accessories that are subtle yet recognizable to fans.

The collection features seven designs, each inspired by a character from the series; protagonist Tanjiro and six elite Hashira members of the Demon Slayer Corps: Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Kyojuro Rengoku, Tengen Uzui, Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji.

Each ribbon features a charm in the shape of the character’s Nichirin Sword handguard, adding a unique touch to the design and another nod to each character the ribbons are modeled after. Even the packaging is beautifully designed with exclusive and elegant art, making the box itself a collectible as well.

The Mayla x Demon Slayer fashion collaboration items are available now until July 10th, 2024, through the Mayla online shop. These items are limited-edition and expected to sell out soon, so those wanting to flex their love of the series in a unique and fashionable way might want to order theirs ASAP!
