Following the recent remake of the original, super-popular classic hit anime Ranma ½, an all-new, limited-time pop-up cafe is coming to three different locations across Japan featuring special, collaborative goods, food, drinks, and more!
Coming to three different locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, the Ranma ½ Cafe focuses on the newly-aired remake of the original, but takes the direction of the artwork and characters throughout the cafe towards one of a Taisho period Japanese style. This exclusive artwork is printed across the merchandise in the store, from coasters to keychains and more.
In addition to exclusive collaborative goods, special food and drink items will also be for sale, all taking some influence or motif from the show. Each is decorated to make for a perfectly shareable experience on social media, with such food items like Ranma Omelet Pilaf and Ranma Chilled Omelet Pasta featuring the characters.
Sweets and special drinks with photos of the characters are also available, and those purchasing food will get a special collaborative postcard at random and those purchasing drinks will get a coaster.
The pop-up cafe opened December 5th, 2024, and will be available for a limited-time run until January 26th, 2025. More information, including reservations, a full menu, locations, and more, can be found on the official website here. Relive the nostalgia and take a visit before it’s gone!
