On March 16th, 2024, Ghibli Park will mark a significant milestone with the grand opening of its final area, Valley of Witches. However, visitors will have more to explore as the Grand Warehouse introduces five new exhibits on the same day, including an area focused on the new film The Boy and the Heron!

Spread across five locations, these exhibits feature four characters making their debut: the heron, pelican, and parakeet from Ghibli’s latest film, “The Boy and the Heron,” alongside Oshira-sama, the radish spirit from “Spirited Away.” The heron perches atop a rooftop in the Central Exhibition Room, while a pod of pelicans can be spotted nearby on another roof. The parakeet hides beside the central staircase, and Oshira-sama awaits visitors near the elevator, reminiscent of its encounter with Chihiro in “Spirited Away.”

Tickets go on sale from March 9th, 2024, with entry fees starting at 3,500 yen for adults on weekdays and 4,000 yen for weekends. Visitors can access all areas with the standard O-Sanpo Pass. The Premium O-Sanpo Pass, priced at 7,300 yen for weekdays and 7,800 yen for weekends, offers entry to additional buildings, including the World Emporium and Satsuki and Mei’s House. More information, including ticket purchases, can be done on the official site here.
