Nijigen no Mori, located in Hyogo’s Awaji Island, is a must-see destination for anime and Japanese pop-culture fans, namely for its real-life Naruto theme park featuring lifesized replicas of characters and places from the series. And this fall, fans have even more reasons to visit, with two all-new events focused on Spy x Family and Naruto!

One of the biggest claims to fame at Nijigen no Mori is the NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi Village, an area of the island heavily focused on the world of Naruto and Boruto. While the attraction is a permanent installation on the island, this October, the park will celebrate Naruto’s birthday with several events, the first of which will feature Naruto and Boruto costumed actors coming out for photos and rock-paper-scissors tournaments!

While the details of the other Naruto Birthday events are yet to be announced, those who want to experience a series other than Naruto can also look forward to the Spy x Family Exciting Maze! This limited-time installation allows attendees to act as a spy themselves, having to sneak through a real-life maze and avoid staff members to win. The park advertises this experience as a difficult challenge, so kids and adults alike can put themselves in the shoes of spies.

In addition to the special events, a series of exclusive Spy x Family food and goods will also be available, including special pouches, keychains, drinks, sandwiches, and many more! Fans can go to the park and enjoy the exclusive Spy x Family activities and pick some exclusive goods up to enhance their experience even further, or stop at the park’s restaurants and take social-media-worthy food photos.

More Spy x Family events are also planned for the park, running until October 20th, 2024. The Naruto’s Birthday events begin on October 10th, 2024, and go daily until the 14th before more events follow. Those wanting to jump between different anime worlds and haven’t yet explored Nijigen no Mori might want to plan their trip this October before the events are over!
