To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the massively hit action RPG series Monster Hunter, developer CAPCOM is collaborating with Japanese sake producer Hakutsuru to produce original sake featuring the world and art of Monster Hunter!

This special collaboration features three different kinds of alcohol to celebrate, each with their own special packaging. Two sakes will be available in the lineup: the first being the Hunter Edition Daiginjo, and the second being the Monster Edition Special Junmai. As their names suggest, the former will feature special Monster Hunter artwork on the box and label showcasing the game’s various human player characters and cast, while the former will focus on the game’s various monsters and enemies.

The third product in the lineup is the Felyne’s Secret Plum Wine, featuring the game’s cat-themed mascot. This alcohol is stronger and sweeter than its rice wine counterparts, and features a box that looks like a wooden barrel and a rounded bottle complete with the Felyne pawprint and Monster Hunter-style font.

The collaborative products go even further with their designs as well, as those purchasing 3 of both the Hunter Edition and Monster Edition sakes can line them up to display a stunning 20th anniversary visual, featuring a line of hunters facing off against a horde of monsters. Whether you display them as they are or in their boxes, the designs look incredible!

These special collaborative sake go on sale November 8th, 2024, with pre-orders available through the online shop here. For those looking to get three of each sake for the special artwork as well, a special bundle of 6 is also available. Celebrate Monster Hunter’s 20th anniversary with a drink fit for the occasion!
