Fans of the massive hit anime Jujutsu Kaisen are well-familiar with Shibuya, and now they can experience the show and location in real life as Shibuya’s BOX cafe&space transforms into an exclusive pop-up collaborative cafe! The immersive character cafe is set to offer a variety of Jujutsu Kaisen-themed food, drink, and of course, exclusive goods!
As with most character cafes, the food present at the Jujutsu Kaisen cafe takes after a wide range of motifs from the show, many of which take on a rather spooky or Halloween-like appearance as the show’s atmosphere is known for.
At this specific collaboration cafe, each dish and drink represents a different character in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, particularly their signature attacks or motifs seen throughout the show! Nobara’s dish, for example, is an arrangement of rice and vegetables made to resemble a voodoo doll, and Yuji’s dish, resembles a hotdog filled with fingers.
Each drink present at the cafe will also be modeled after their respective characters, contrasting both that character’s color scheme and different ingredients or appearances that take after their personalities. Small, individual flags featuring the character the drink is based on will also be included in the drink!
And, of course, attendees can look forward to exclusive merchandise for sale, such as keychains, coasters, badges, acrylic standees, and even a commemorative mug featuring the cafe’s logo and the show’s characters!
Foodies and fans of the show alike can mark their calendars for this limited-time collaboration, present at all of Shibuya’s BOX cafe&space locations!
