With the Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail expansion launch just a month away, Square-Enix has teamed up with KFC Japan to release an exclusive collaboration, featuring both real-world and virtual appearances from the colonel and collaborative goods!

This collaboration marks the second team-up between Final Fantasy XIV and KFC, with their first partnership taking place last fall with a teaser featuring the colonel himself in the world of Final Fantasy. This time, KFC Japan will offer a special Final Fantasy XIV Collaboration Set, accompanied by new videos and artwork featuring the same Final Fantasy-style Colonel Sanders.

The set includes a Japanese-style Chicken Katsu Burger, one piece of Original Recipe fried chicken, a small order of French fries, and a medium-size soft drink of your choice. Ordering the set also gets you a set of exclusive stickers, featuring plenty of Final Fantasy mascots and motifs adorned in KFC-style uniforms.

Additionally, each set comes with a code that can be redeemed in the game for an exclusive “Eat Fried Chicken” character emote, and purchasing the set also grants entry into a lottery for a chance to win a Final Fantasy XIV/KFC mouse pad or a long-sleeved T-shirt, with 100 of each item available. One exceptionally lucky winner will receive a unique figure of Colonel Sanders and Chocobo on a motorcycle.

While supplies last, the collaboration set will be packaged in a special box featuring Final Fantasy’s iconic Chocobo and Moogle mascots wearing KFC caps, just like those on the sticker set. The Final Fantasy XIV Collaboration Set will be available from June 10th to June 30th, 2024, but can only be purchased through KFC Japan’s KFC Net Order system. Fans will want to score this exclusive loot before it’s gone!
