To celebrate the 35th anniversary of CLAMP, the studio behind a wide range of iconic anime series like Cardcaptor Sakura and Code Geass, a special exhibition will open for a limited time in Osaka showcasing a wide range of illustrations, original sketches, and more! In addition, the Keihan Railway will also be showcasing special artwork for the event!
Dubbed CLAMP Exhibition -SELECTION-, this celebratory event is set to be held at the Hirakata Park Event Hall in Osaka, with over 800 original drawings from CLAMP teased to be on display. In addition to the original art, a special signed illustration board featuring the signatures of many creatives behind CLAMP will be on display as well, with a never-before-seen commemorative illustration.
In addition to the exclusive displays, merchandise only available for purchase at the event will be offered, all of which will feature special art commemorating the event. The goods available for sale include special clear files, original illustration books, catalogs, and even framed recreations of original art pieces that will be on display at the event.
The Keihan Railway will also be joining the celebration, with trains on the line being decorated with special promotional art for the event. Attendees can also purchase specially decorated train tickets, featuring original CLAMP artwork that even comes with their own special ticket holder with its own artwork as well!
CLAMP Exhibition -SELECTION- will run from October 11th, 2024, until January 13th, 2025.
