We had the pleasure of attending Wonder Festival 2025 Winter, the world-renowned convention and exhibition for all things figure and hobby-related, where we had the chance to explore the incredible booth of BellFine, one of Japan’s premier figure manufacturers, and take an up-close look at their current and upcoming releases!
Separated into two sections, BellFine had a plethora of beautifully presented figures on display: one publicly-facing section dedicated to new and upcoming figures, and a curtained-off section dedicated to more intimate, adult-oriented figures from Nocturne, BellFine’s mature branch. In addition to being able to see their newest line-up of figures up close and in person, new figures were also revealed and able to be viewed in prototype form without color for attendees to have something to look forward to!
The figures on display covered a wide range of popular franchises from anime, games, and more, both from the most recent to older fan favorites. My Hero Academia was one such highlight, with figures of Toga Himiko and Lady Nagant in incredible comic-style scale figures catching eyes. Sonic the Hedgehog also got two amazing figures for fans in his original, retro design, with a metallic color variant as well as a classic matte.
Some figures were previously shown only as uncolored prototypes, with painted versions debuting for the first time at this year’s Wonder Festival. Among these were figures of Shiroha Naruse from Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE eating a watermelon popsicle and two figures from the anime series Lycoris Recoil, Nishikigi Chisoku and Inoue Takina, in adorable white one-piece summer dresses.
Taking a peak inside their Nocturne adults-only area, there were figures from all ranges of interests and fantasies, with characters, situations, outfits, and more for people of any and all tastes and interests. The craftsmanship of the figures from Nocturne had the same attention to detail and quality as those from BellFine’s main line, while also maintaining the artful aspect of their more intimate works.
Crowds, fans, attendees, and more gathered in massive numbers around BellFine’s booth for another year at Wonder Festival 2025 Winter, with the rising star figure manufacturer promising even more to come in the summer and future figurine events and showcases, of which we’re waiting anxiously to see what they have in store!
