Kouta Hirano, the manga-ka who brought the action-packed, gory dark fantasy Hellsing, is holding an exhibition for his latest series Drifters. At this exhibition original manga pages of Drifters will be on display. The exhibition is being held at the 1F event space basement of Toranoana Akihabara B and is running from March 30th to April 5th. Yes it’s only a one-week exhibition so you’ve got to hurry up.
What makes this exhibition even more special is that the content changes daily, focusing each day on a different character from the series.
Starting with main character Shimazu Toyosa from March 30th each of the pages will be swapped out with new ones. So if you want to see each character being displayed, your best bet would be camping in front of the venue for a week. Think of it as a new i-phone.
Drifters has a big international fan base, so the English, German, Italian and French versions of the manga will be on display.
If that’s not enough for you, props from the manga like Shimazu’s sword is on display, plus there are tons of original Drifter merch waiting for you.
