The yearly celebration of all things One Piece, One Piece Day, is soon returning to Makuhari Messe with a massive celebration! This year, the event spans two days and promises an even grander experience for fans of the series with a list of performances, displays, and more!

One of the main attractions of the event is its lineup of musical performances. On August 10th, attendees can see GRe4N Boyz, previously known as Greeeen, who have long collaborated with the One Piece franchise. The stage will also feature Hololive VTuber Mori Calliope, known for her One Piece-inspired song “Future Island.” In addition, theme song performers Maki Otsuki and Hiroshi Kitadani will bring their legendary tracks, including “We Are!” and “Dear Sunrise,” to the event.

The following day, August 11th, will showcase Ado, the artist behind several hit songs from One Piece Film Red, including “New Genesis,” performed by the character Uta. Also making an appearance is the idol group Be:First, who performs the theme song for the One Piece Card Game, titled “Set Sail.” These performances will take place in the Live Area, with tickets available for purchase on the official event website.

Beyond the musical acts, the Exhibition Area offers a range of exciting activities and displays. This includes appearances by beloved Japanese voice actors such as Mayumi Tanaka, the voice of Monkey D. Luffy, and Ikue Ohtani, who voices Chopper. The event will also feature the voices of Dr. Vegapunk’s various bodies from the series’ Egghead Island arc. Fans can look forward to the One Piece Best Scenes Poll, which will rank the top 100 scenes from the series, and the One Piece World Figure Colosseum figure-sculpting competition. Additionally, the finals for the One Piece Bounty Rush: The Second Extreme Treasure Festival Tournament will be held, along with exhibits on the latest updates in the One Piece universe, collaborations such as with Uniqlo UT T-shirts, and the One Piece Card Game.

For those who cannot attend in person, the Special Live Area concerts will be livestreamed on the Stagecrowd platform, available until August 17th and 18th, 2024. Tickets for the live stream, however, are also available for purchase, and are priced at 3,800 yen for one day or 6,800 yen for both days. The Exhibition Area will also be streamed for free on the official One Piece YouTube channel, with English interpretation provided. More details can be found at the official site here.
