Samantha Vega, a renowned accessory and fashion brand in Japan, has joined forces with the beloved anime and manga franchise Hunter X Hunter to launch a brand-new line of character-based accessories! The collaboration, set to debut on January 19th, 2024, offers a vibrant collection available both online and at a special Samantha Vega Pop-up Shop in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro Parco department store.
This collaboration introduces an array of colorful accessories spotlighting six of Hunter X Hunter’s iconic characters. Each set focuses on a smartphone shoulder bag, shoulder bag, fold-up wallet, multi-purpose case, zipper charm, and bag charm, with two sets featuring an additional handbag. Each of these accessories are adorned with character-specific colors and motifs that encapsulate the essence of Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka, and Chrollo.
Gon’s set, inspired by his green hair and outfit, boasts orange accents and distinctive designs. Killua’s lavender-themed collection mirrors his skills with lightning-inspired patterns. Kurapika’s navy and royal blue ensemble capture the essence of the Holy Chain and Judgment Chain, while Leorio’s navy blue, black, and red accessories pay homage to his suitcase and glasses. Hisoka’s collection, vibrant in hot pink and neon blue, features the Phantom Troupe’s spider logo and playing card motifs. Chrollo’s black and dark purple items showcase spiders, upside-down crosses, and handprints representing his Skill Hunter ability.
In addition to these character-specific collections, the collaboration offers limited-edition apparel. The one-size-fits-all hoodies feature motifs of the same characters mentioned above, in addition to the one-size-fits-all T-shirts, which highlight Hunter Association and Phantom Troupe logos. Both the hoodies and T-shirts will be in limited supply.
The exclusive collaboration items will be available at the Pop-up Shop and Samantha Vega’s official online store from January 19th to 25th, 2024. Subsequently, on January 26, the collection will hit Samantha Vega shops nationwide.
