Fairy Tail new artwork, new season, new spin-off

Fairy Tail new artwork by Hiro Mashima is finally lifted! It is announced at Weekly Shonen Magazine No.19 which released on April 11. The new series starts at Kodansha / Weekly Shonen Magazine No.30 and will be released on June 27.

“Japan, America, Europe… The whole world is waiting!”

Plus, the second season of the anime which is the sequence of the last episode, and a spin-off are in the work. The second season will be supervised by Hiro Mashima himself. Though the titles and writers for both second season and spin-off have not been announced yet, it is said that they will be announced in the next magazine of the Weekly Shonen Magazine.

Furthermore, an art exhibition will be held from April 21st to 30th at a special venue on the 6th floor of the Tokyo · Seibu Shibuya store Movida Hall, as a celebration of Hiro Mahima’s 20th anniversary in the art industry.

Hiro Mashima is famous for his “BAD BOYS SONG” published in magazine FRESH in 1998. Besides that, he is also known for his work “RAVE” which was made into TV animation series from 1999 to 2005. But in 2006, “FAIRY TAIL” took the rule. Fairy Tail was also made into anime TV series, movies and even media mix development. His current masterpiece Fairy Tail manga has in total of 545 chapters.
