Exciting! The Cast of the Live-Action TV Drama of Death Note that will be airing from July has been revealed!
In the Live-Action Movie from 2006, Tatsuya Fujiwara played the main character “Light Yagami” and Kenichi Matsuyama the character of ”L”. The actor Masataka Kubota (窪田正孝) will be taking over “Light Yagami” and “L” will be played by Kento Yamazaki (山崎賢人).
The new Death Note drama has been announced to have one big difference to its predecessors. By changing the original manga characters´ personalities from being highly gifted, into the setting of normal “everyday students” and cutting “L´s” habit of over-eating sweets, the characters become more easy to identify with.
