Fans of Kirby and those with his appetite have an all-new collaboration to look forward to, as Japanese beef bowl fast food chain Yoshinoya has announced their newest limited-time event, titled Kirby’s Operation Full Stomach!
This promotional campaign features Kirby front and center, with a myriad of different promotional goods, art, and giveaways! The event centers around the “Kirby Set”, which features a small or standard-sized gyudon beef bowl, with a side of apple juice or salad. The meal itself is served in an adorable take-out container covered in different Kirby motifs and artwork, featuring Kirby in different scenes such as relaxing under a tree or enjoying a meal himself.
Those who order the Kirby Set also get their choice of an exclusive collaborative figure, given out at random between 4 different available designs. All 4 showcase Kirby interacting with Yoshinoya in some way, between passing out from eating gyudon, tripping and spilling his soda, taking a bowl for himself home, and running with a bowl full of food.
The event is also set to have a second phase that kicks off starting September 3rd, 2024, that features three new figures including Kirby holding a chef’s gyudon serving spoon, Kirby on his warp star inhaling, and Kirby stuck in a serving bowl. An exclusive Kirby-themed bowl will be available for sale during this time, featuring a similar design to the take-out bowl but in a fancier and more sturdy ceramic bowl. This also comes with special packs for making the chain’s beef bowls at home.
Operation Full Stomach featuring Kirby is running nationwide now until September 30th, 2024, with sales ending each day when each location’s figure sales quotas are met. Warp in and eat like Kirby while you can!
