As we reported a few weeks back, the “Nodogoshi Beer” and Nagashi Sômen two-day event held on the 20th and 21st of June, at Bellesalle Akihabara, had attempted to break the Guiness World Record with the popular summer tradition of catching cold thin sômen noodles flowing downstream on a tall slide with your chopsticks. The Record attempt seems to have failed but competitors and visitors seem to have enjoyed this special event all the same!
For 200 yen, visitors could enjoy the nagashi sômen experience and a can of Nodogoshi beer! But a promo event wouldn´t be a promo event, if it weren´t packed with lots of give-aways. If you shared pictures of the event with the hashtag #のどごし生 (#nodogoshinama), you could get one more can of Nodogoshi beer for free.
And that’s not all! After you finish eating and handed over your plate to the staff, they would give you the new Nodogoshi Aozora Komugi beer as a present. If you tweeted about the event, you could get 2 more cans of Nodogoshi beer before you go home!!
