It has just been announced that the hit TV anime series Bungo Stray Dogs will be collaborating with Sanrio on a series of joint merchandise, with its first visuals released today! Fans will be pleased to find each of the Bungo Stray Dogs characters in chibi form, re-imagined in adorable pair outfits with a Sanrio character.
The actual items have not been revealed as of yet, but it seems that both Studio BONES and KADOKAWA will be releasing collaboration items under each company’s license with their own take. The line is mainly aimed at the adult female demographic, and will include items such as can badges and key chains.
The Design Concept
They heard a voice out of nowhere saying, “Sanrio Fantasia!”, and in that instant, they were transported into the world of the book. It was in this mysterious world where they met them, small and friendly.

Bungo Stray Dogs centers around individuals gifted with supernatural abilities, and use them for various purposes such as creating a business, solving mysteries, and carrying out missions for the mafia. The series, in particular, follows a group called the Armed Detective Agency and the members’ everyday lives.
Bungo Stray Dogs has had two TV anime seasons as well as the animated movie, Dead Apple, which was released in March 2018. The third season will be airing from April 2019.
